Review of K'NEX Extreme Sports Building Set

I usually go through toy or hobby store sales just to see if there is anything new and different on sale. And then I managed to find this, the K'NEX Extreme Sports Building Set. A first time seeing this for me.

The box packaging gives a very clear indication that this toy is for the USA market. But flip it over and it becomes even more clear, what is part of its USP.

Behold the American flag and the legend which says packaged in USA with 99% US content and 1% China content. Hmm...that is a weird break up to put on a toy box. But what do I know about the USA market?

But anyway the contents inside are nicely packed. The K'NEX Extreme Sports Building Set box comes with a manual for 5 kits to build. The instructions to make the other 5 need to be downloaded from the link that the manual has. So without much further ado, here we go.

The pieces are quite easy to join and the quality is very good. The first kit is a surfer.

The second is a wind surfer.

Wind glider

Kayaking

The last one in the manual is a bike. Then I downloaded the second set of instructions for the rest of the 10 kits from the link on the manual.

Jet Ski

Para jumping

Another bike but this one is much better.

Another surfer dude

A Wave Runner.

I liked the set. The plastic quality is very good. Though sometimes picking the right piece can a little difficult because of different colours in the manual. But you will eventually work it out.

Its a nice way to learn about building blocks with the K'NEX Extreme Sports Building Set. Thumbs up.
