Review of Metal Earth Imperial Star Destroyer

Been wanting to make one of these metal models for a long while but always been dissuaded with moulding things into curve shapes. But with this kit, I finally took the leap and went ahead with it.

The kit comes nicely packed and nicely labelled.

It was relatively easy compared to what I had expected. It looks lovely and eye catching on my desk.

Review of Rolife Owl Storage Box

Been wanting to make missus something for her desk at work and when I came across this kit online, I knew it would be perfect for her. The Rolife Owl Storage Box. Its a wooden kit with runners carved out using lasers for precision cutting. And that greatly improves the experience of taking out the pieces from the runners.

There only four runners which makes the kit perfect for a day's work.

The instructions are pretty clear and concise. Easy to follow in spite of that.

The construction is firm and feels solid. The wooden is strong but maybe a coat of varnish would make it last longer. I also glued the pieces together to avoid having things dropping off after a while

Review of DECOOL 3317 Helicopter Exploiture - Type B

Back with a review of something that I have been meaning to build for a long while. A helicopter model. The first of its kind that I have made so far. So was hoping it would be interesting. This is the DECOOL 3317 Helicopter Exploiture - Type B. Will be posting the review for Type A later.

The box is on the bigger side especially for only a 1000+ pieces. I noticed that the bags were numbered but the instructions did not mention which bags to use for what parts. That wasn't very nice to go through.

The snap fit is fantastic. All parts align nicely without any gaps.

The while construction is very interesting. The wheels can be lowered and the both rotors move independently, which was a very nifty thing to have.

A definite recommendation from me. The construction is good, the gears work, and its light weight. Will work on Type A soon.

Review of Love Forts Container House Type A

After a long time away, I am back. I hope I was missed hahaha. Anyway, a review that was long time coming. It was a wooden house by a chinese brand "Love Forts". It was a very long and sometimes frustrating build. But overall, I am quite pleased with it.

The build it itself is quite simple but the instructions dont always tell you on how to get from one point to the other. The rest is left to your own imagination and creativity. So without much further ado, lets start.

So there it is. Out of the 6 LEDs in the house, 4 are working fine while two arent. Somethings that we have to live with, I guess. All in all, the build was great, though sometimes messy because of the glue involved haha. But I would still do it again. See you all again soon.
